Class:  Intermediate - Canine Good Citizen Class
Date:  October 14, 2009 - One Hour Sessions for Six Weeks
The next class will begin approximately 7/8 weeks from this date.
Fee:  $135.00

This class builds on skills introduced in puppy training.

This is the Canine Good Citizen class
(test is optional ($10), by appointment)

Lots of distractions and challenges – walking past another dog, staying while toys are tossed nearby, sitting politely for petting, etc.

Prerequisite for most therapy dog work

*Relaxation techniques for optimum learning

These commands are practiced in the Intermediate Class:

Heel
Sit/Stay
Down/Stay
Come
Leave it
Settle (to stop jumping on people, and for handling)
Walk nicely on leash
Stand

To register for the class, please fill in the registration form.  Once you are registered, you will be redirected to a page to confirm your email address.  Upon confirming your email, you will receive the waiver and an instruction sheet on what you'll need to bring to class with you.  Once your registration is complete, you must contact the store for final confirmation of your registration and to provide 50% of the fee as a deposit for the class.
